Eugenio Alcalá

Eugenio Alcalá studied the BSc in Electronic and Automatic Engineering at Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR-EUPT) from 2010 to 2014. During this period he participated in the third Motostudent edition with the EUPT-Bikes team and was a member of the COSME platform team developed by the Group of Discrete Event Systems Engineering (GISED) in which he developed his final project: “Development and implementation of a quadrotor system” supervised by Alfonso Blesa.
Then, he went to Barcelona where he started the MSc degree on Robotics and Control at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC). Two years later (2016) he received the MSc title after presenting his thesis on “Modelling, planning and non-linear control techniques for autonomous vehicles”, supervised by Vicenç Puig and David Vázquez. In that period, he did an internship in the Computer Vision Center (CVC).

Currently, he has started as a Ph.D. student at the Centro de Investigación en Supervisión, Seguridad y Control Automático (CS2AC-UPC).
