Fatiha Nejjari

Fatiha Nejjari received her B. degree in physics from Hassan II University and the Ph.D. degree in physics (Automatic Control) from Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech in 1992 and 1997, respectively. She is currently a Professor at the Department of Automatic Control (ESAII) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She is also a member of the Aeronautical and Space Science Research Centre (CRAE) of UPC. She teaches subjects on Automatic and Systems Engineering at the College of Industrial Engineering of Terrassa (EET) and at the School of Industrial and Aeronautic Engineering of Terrassa (ETSEIAT). Courses are related with Control Theory, both Continuous Time Systems and Digital Control.
Her active research areas include Nonlinear Control, Parameter and State estimation, Adaptive Control and Fault Tolerant Control. Her expertise is specifically in the field of joint state and parameter estimation, fault detection and isolation, nonlinear and fault tolerant control with application to bioprocesses, environmental systems and electrical systems. She has published more than 60 papers in Journals and International events about these topics and she has participated in several European Projects and Networks related with these same mentioned subjects.
